The Human Resources & Development Department is a strategic department within Universal Motors Agency (UMA). It has the responsibility of building and recruiting the competent human resources, developing skills, knowledge, abilities and attitudes, creating a conductive and motivational working environment, and taking all necessary measures to guarantee their ongoing improvement.

UMA's HRD devotes the maximum effort to develop existing employees, in coordination with other National Heads to improve staff capability and localization progress. Localization percentages have improved steadily over the last three years from 8 % to 27 % within the Western area alone.

The HRD department has several services duties to increase employee satisfaction and meet company goals and business objectives such as:

• Employee services & Payroll
• Government Sector

Furthermore, UMA is working with Al-Sebai Center for Advance Training in the role of specialized recruiters and for employee skill development, for new & existing employees.
