UMA wins Chevrolet Speed Star Championship in KSA

UMA Motorsports Division won the Chevrolet Speed Star Championship in September 2008.  This year’s program included one round each at Jeddah, Khobar and Riyadh.  Each round consisted of two races in which participants were required to clock the quickest time in the Autocross. UMA team had nine (9) podium finishes this year and our driver Ahmed Al Issa Driving Corvette earned fifty two (52) points thus winning this year’s championship.

It had been a dream start first year for UMA motorsports division in which it had won the Lumina CSV Middle East championship beating Lechner sports Bahrain.  Our driver Abdul Aziz Al Yaeesh had finished second in that race.  UMA also made history by competing Hail Rally (WORLD BAJA SERIES) with a standard Tahoe Engine, transmission and normal cooling system.  Besides, UMA also won the Toyota Autocross held in Al Khobar.   

UMA is now looking forward in 2009 season with more increased commitments in the forthcoming races!
